During the last few days, several Playground services have been internationally recognized as quality services by various mobile services awards. Meffy’s Mobile Entertainment Awards and The Mobile Messaging Awards both nominate and award Playground services.
Meffys Mobile Entertainment Awards:
- Gameloft won the prize for best game for their in-house developed game “Real football 2009”
- Telenor Pakistan was short listed in the two categories Quality of Experience and Mobile First Innovation for their new service Photo Express
- Rubberduck was short listed in the category “TV & Video Service” mobile TV service that they launched with Sonofon in Denmark called “Sonofon Mobile TV”.
2009 Messaging Awards:
- Momail won the prize for best messaging application for consumers
- Fring was short listed in the category best messaging application for consumers
