The HP SDP is also what is used by us in Telenor Playground as the Playground Lab, to provide the Playground partners with telco-enablers. With the HP SDP, HP has set up a standard SDP solution for the Telenor OpCo's that is available to all of the Telenor operators.
The SDP describes a comprehensive solution and architectural approach that aims to address the Telenor Op-Co’s SOA requirements. The SDP is loosely coupled architecture based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach driving a common horizontal service control and execution layer that promise operators faster turnaround for the rollout of new services, increased per-user revenue as a result of the uptake of new services, and lower operational costs.
