This is an example of how a service presentation could look. All services are presented the same way, showcasing the information that our operators are most interested to know about when looking for new services.

Note that you will not see all this information when you are viewing the services in the Showroom, as most of is restricted for Telenor internal use (paragraphs marked with "concealed")


Dare (Dummy service)

Dare allows users all over the world compete against each other in this exhilarating climbing game. Players may use their mobile phones or PC to challenge other players to first climb Everest, K2, Makalu and the highest mountains in the world.

Dare is a multiplayer online game where users are able to invite their friends to play and are able to stop mid way during a climb and return to exact climbing point at a later time. Invitations to the game is sendt to players using SMS to their handset or email account. Dare can be played from any web or wap browser using either a PC or mobile handset. In addition to data traffic, Operators can include a personalized advertising feature, displaying ads to the customers (both in the game and as part if the gaming/community menu). The ads can be personalized using customer data (such as age, gender, location)

Dare may also be played as a single player game.

Launched in January 2008 by Operator ABC in Switzerland and by Operator XYZ in Austria in February 2008. After a 2 week free marketing promotion, 40 000 users started actively playing the game.
